Add movement to one photo

A basic animation made with two keyframes: a starting point and an ending point.

Add movement to one photo guide illustration
01

Start with one movement

Begin by changing only scale or position. Changing several properties at once makes it harder to understand which value affects the result.

02

Record the starting state

Place the playhead at the desired time and add the first keyframe. Set the size and position that the image should have at the start.

03

Create the ending state at another time

Move the playhead forward, add another keyframe and change the value. The time between the two points determines the speed of the movement.

04

Check edges and readability

Check that movement does not reveal empty space outside the image. If you have added text, adjust it so that it does not cover an important part of the scene.
